For the last year and a half I have been making iPhone photos.  It makes me happy.

I often say to young photographers and students, who ask my advice, “shoot what matters to you and it will matter to others.” I realize that lots of family, friends and a few strangers now enjoy my iphonotos.   This blog hopefully will be a place for these images to be found.  It will also give me reason to sort through the 15000+ images.  So enjoy.  As I see it…

I have been many things photographer, editor, director, boss, mom, sister, wife, daughter, friend. I have lived on a small family farm and in busy Manhattan. This blog is not about my photography or my opinions. It is simply a record of me finding, recognizing, sharing and celebrating the joys in my life. The little things that make me smile, the people who make me laugh and the joy of living.

This is a collection of iPhone photos from NYC.  I will be adding more as I sort my files.  These first nine are some of my favorites.  They highlight my move to NYC looking for an apartment and my last night in the city overlooking lower Manhattan.  Discovering new and old favorites, walking to my office, enjoying the tourist spots as well as the park in my backyard.
